Throughout the mid-Atlantic region farmers have used stones from their fields, or “fieldstone”, to build durable and functional buildings. This simple practice is a lasting example of a “dual use” philosophy - making the fields more farmable, while providing buildings that are both needed and beautiful. Fieldstone Agrivoltaics is focused on a new dual use frontier - using our increasingly scarce land resource in the region to produce both food and energy.
